Meet Our Founder
Dr. Thales Lopes is the founder of the Lopes Learning Foundation. As a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner and educator, he has dedicated his career to making mental health education accessible for students from underrepresented backgrounds. His vision is to break barriers in psychiatric nursing by combining scholarships, mentorship, and global exchange opportunities.
Our Mission
The Lopes Learning Foundation exists to empower first-generation, low-income, Latinx/Hispanic, and veteran students to succeed in their PMHNP journey through scholarships, mentorship, and international exchange.
